Dan received his Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1994 and he utilizes this degree as a college professor at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. Dan is the author of two books, "Coaching for Character" and "Through the Storm." Dan played college basketball and received his undergraduate degree from Wartburg College in Iowa. He received his masters from the University of Northern Iowa. Dan and his wife Karen have three boys.
