Marvin
retired after 43 years as a teacher, coach and administrator in public schools
in Kansas and Missouri. He has earned degrees from Pittsburg State, Emporia
State and a Doctorate in Education from Oklahoma State. Marvin has served
as a teacher and lay leader in church and inter-church ministries. Marvin
was instrumental in starting a TGIW group in Chanute, KS before moving to
Springfield, MO in June 2004. Marvin will be one of the co-leaders of the
TGIW-Springfield group which will start in 2005. He and his wife Claire
have been married 49 years and they have three sons and nine grandchildren.
Marvin’s son, Joe, is one of the CTC Staff Associates.
